It's fabulously stuck in plotting mode.
Okay, not really. I took a break after releasing The Red Dragon Girl in November. I struggle with winter blues/depression, and I decided to be kind to myself for the month of December, which meant binge watching Netflix movies and reading real paper books in my free time. (Kindles are great, and I use mine a lot, but I love the smell and feel of real paper in my hands.) I've made a few changes lately that are helping me feel better, so I plan to begin the outlining process tonight. And I have a working title for the book!
The Moonflower Dance.
It's tentative, but I like it for now. This story will feature Neylan, the sixth of the twelve sisters, and it's inspired by Beauty and the Beast. I'm not sure if there will be roses, and there definitely won't be talking housewares, but there will be dragons and balls and gorgeous dresses and an unusual number of red-haired girls.
Let me know in the comments what you think of the title and what elements from the original Beauty and the Beast you'd like to see in the story.
Happy reading!
