When she isn’t writing, Faith enjoys doing many right-brained activities such as reading, crafting, playing piano, and playing games with her family. One of her dreams is to visit Castle City, Montana, someday to see the ghost town she chose for her characters to live in. She currently lives on a hobby farm with her family in Wisconsin.
There are many ways to connect with Faith online, and all of them can be found on her website.

Ten Things You Should Know About
I listen to a variety of music while I write. Most of it is classical, but since I listen on Pandora, I get some movie soundtracks as well. Joseph Haydn’s music has shown up a lot, and I’ve decided I really like his music.
2. At what moment did you feel like you could say, “NOW, I'm an author?”
I would say when I published my first book.
3. What is one of your favorite/go-to writing resources?
One of my new/old favorite resources is yWriter. It’s a software kind of like Scrivener, but free. I say it’s new/old because I used to use it a few years ago, got away from using it, and came back to it again a couple months ago. Now I’m really loving it while combined with what I learned in K.M. Weiland’s book, Outlining Your Novel.
4. Have you ever looked yourself up on Google? If so, did you find anything surprising?
I have looked myself up on Google, because I was curious if there were any other people out there with my name. The most surprising thing I found was that there was someone and she was studying a science of some sort. It’s been a while, so I don’t remember exactly what it was.
5. Do you write using a keyboard, pen and paper, or both?
A little bit of both. I typically like to write the rough draft in a notebook and then type it up as my first edit.
6. What project are you working on now?
I’m working on two projects right now. One is a contemporary suspense novella and the other is editing my next novel. The novella is very different from my typical stories, so that’s made it both challenging and a little extra fun. The novel is the first book in my next series, Orphans of the West, which is a continuation of my Hymns of the West series.
7. Do you write/read every single day?
No, I do not. I usually don’t write on Sundays, and my Wednesdays are often too busy for me to get any writing done. I do try to read my Bible every day, so I guess that means I do usually read every day.
8. Do you have any furry writing buddies?
Oh most certainly, I do. Smokey, my cat, loves to be around me a lot. It gets rather hard to type sometimes because of her.
9. Do you have any other creative outlets besides writing?
Yes, I do. I also crochet, knit, sew, do counted cross stitch, and other crafts.
10. Who are your 3 favorite characters in your books?
Adelaide, Bradley, and Joshua. Adelaide shows up in four of my books, The Solid Rock, Blessed Assurance (her novella), Just a Closer Walk, and Just As I Am. Bradley is in Blessed Assurance and Joshua is in A Mighty Fortress and The Solid Rock.
