Second Place

Neylan is wearing her black feathered gown from the undergarden, and she has a butterwing dragon nesting in her hair. (Where else?) Love the freckles.
Runner-Up #1
Marisol (Sweet Basil short story) by Brittany W.
This really captures Marisol well, especially the eyes, and there's just a hint of her most unusual dragon tattoo. The dress is awesome, too, not to mention the hair.
Runner-Up #2
The Undergarden by Rebekah J.
The colors! Wow! There are the mushrooms oozing orange "lava," and the gemstone trees, and all the other oddly vibrant flowers and plants. I want to walk down that path. So cool.
Honorable Mention
The Twelve Princesses by Kayla M.
I have to say, I was really hoping someone would do all twelve princesses--and I got my wish! This is fabulous! It had so many votes that it almost tied as a runner-up, so it's getting a special honorable mention. I could see these as bookmarks or collectable character cards.
Participation
(The Jade Dragon by Elena H.) This dragon has quite the hoard of jade. If that person is coming to steal it, they better watch out for those diamond spikes.
(Neylan in Her Garden by Daphne H.) Look at the little dragons! So cute! I'd love to join Neylan under the tree with a book.
